Reviewer Guideline
Dear Journal of Infant, Child and Adolescent Health (JICAH) Reviewer;
Please read the text of our journal's "Writing Rules" before evaluating the article in your hand and submitting your comments and suggestions to the Editor.
As a result of your evaluation, you should state your opinions about the article in the Reviewer Evaluatıon Form. This form consists of “Evaluation Criteria” and “Decision” sections.
In addition to the Reviewer Evaluation Form sent to you for the article you evaluated, you should have comments and suggestions about the scientific, spelling rules and morphology of the article (such as reviewer notes on the article) and you are expected to submit them to us. In this form, you are expected to write your thoughts about the article and the parts that need to be corrected. If you wish, you can forward the corrections you make directly to the text (preferably in Track Changes / Track Changes mode) by uploading them as a file. If you think the article should not be published, you should explain the reasons.
The information you are requested to fill in the Peer Review Form is forwarded to the author in accordance with our double-blind reviewer policy (Reviewer information is never shared with the author, and the reviewer's correspondence with the editor is within the same scope).
Only the points you would like the Editor to see can be selected from the "Note to the Editor" field in the system; You can convey the points that you would like the author to see, from the "Note to the Author" field in the system.

All articles submitted to JICAH are evaluated by a double-blind peer-review process. Reviewers cannot directly communicate with the author(s) of the article they are evaluating. The result of the evaluation is sent to the author(s) by the editors through the journal management system.
The ethical principles that the reviewers who will evaluate the articles sent to JICAH must comply with:
They should agree to consider only studies related to their area of expertise.
The article should be evaluated within the principle of impartiality and confidentiality.
The reviewers should evaluate the articles objectively, and the style they use in their suggestions should be courteous, respectful, subjective and scientific. Reviewers should avoid offensive, disrespectful and subjective comments.
Reviewers are required to fill in the Reviewer Evaluation Form for the articles they evaluate. Reviewers should state their decision on whether the article they evaluated is publishable and the reasons for their decision on this form.
Reviewers; If they think that they are faced with a conflict of interest regarding the article they will evaluate, they should not accept to review the study and should inform the journal editor about it.
Reviewers are required to complete their evaluation within the time given to them for evaluation and send it to the journal.
After examining all files related to the article reviewer evaluated, they should destroy it.
