Anorektal Malformasyonu Olan Çocuk Hastada Roy Adaptasyon Modeline Göre Hemşirelik Yaklaşımı: Olgu Sunumu

The concept of "caregiving", which is the basic building block of the nursing discipline, is shaped by scientific knowledge and is based on theories and models. One of the frequently used models that still exist today is the Roy Adaptation Model. Roy's adaptation model; It offers nurses the opportunity to identify stimuli and provide a coping mechanism with these stimuli to plan interventions related to the identified problems. In addition, the model ensures that care is systematic, controlled, and effective. Anorectal malformation (ectopic anus) covers a process whose treatment is carried out gradually. Children have difficulty in adapting to treatment due to hospitalization, separation from family members, and painful interventions during the struggle with this disease. The Roy adaptation model focuses on the physiological and psychosocial adaptation of people to their environment. While harmony supports the health of the individual, incompatibility negatively affects the health of the individual. This study was planned to provide nursing care to a child with an anorectal malformation (ectopic anus) in the light of the Roy Adaptation Model, to ensure the harmony of the patient and his mother, and to use the model as a guide in the care of children with an anorectal malformation, in line with the information obtained with the consent of the patient's guardian.

Hemşirelik disiplininin temel yapı taşı olan “bakım verme” kavramı bilimsel bilgiler ile şekillenir, kuram ve modellerden temel alır. Günümüzde hala varlığını devam ettiren ve sık kullanılan modellerden biri Roy Adaptasyon Modelidir. Roy adaptasyon modeli; belirlenen sorunlarla ilişkili müdahaleleri planlamak amacıyla, hemşirelere uyaranları tespit etme ve bu uyaranlarla başa çıkma mekanizması sağlama fırsatı sunmaktadır. Ayrıca model bakımın sistematik, kontrollü ve etkili olmasını sağlar. Anorektal malformasyon (ektopik anüs), tedavisi aşamalı olarak gerçekleştirilen bir süreci kapsar. Çocuklar bu hastalık ile mücadele sürecinde hastaneye yatma, aile üyelerinden ayrı kalma ve ağrılı girişimler nedeniyle tedaviye uyum sağlamada güçlük çeker. Roy adaptasyon modeli, insanların çevrelerine fizyolojik ve psikososyal adaptasyonuna/uyumuna odaklanır. Uyum bireyin sağlığını desteklerken uyumsuzluk ise bireyin sağlığını olumsuz etkilemektedir. Bu çalışma hastanın vasisinin izni ile elde edilen bilgiler doğrultusunda anorektal malformasyonu (ektopik anüs) olan çocuk hastaya Roy Adaptasyon Modeli ışığında hemşirelik bakımının sağlanması ve hasta ve annesinin uyumunun sağlanması ve modelin anorektal malformasyonlu çocukların bakımında rehber olarak kullanılması amacıyla planlanmıştır
